Exhibition stalls for a lighting manufacturer

Producing and implementing exhibition stalls for international exhibitions

Take a look at three different exhibition stall implementations for a renowned lighting manufacturer, which we implemented in world capitals.

Exhibition stall at Euroluce 2015, Milano: Infinite depth effect

The infinite depth effect was created by a connecting the floor directly to the wall by an arc. At the end, the floor and walls were covered with vinyl. However, the resulting effect showed that the surface of the vinyl created an unwanted reflection of the reflectors in the arc.

In order for the lamp light effects at the exhibition to be exactly according to the client’s needs, we matted all vinyl surfaces by spraying it with resistant wax. Thanks to this solution, we obtained the desired light dispersion and the surface of the stand remained walkable without any problems.

"At lighting exhibitions, the dispersion of light is a factor that has to be taken into account.”

Exhibition stall at Maison d'Objet in Paris, 2015: Floor made of stepped stairs

The exhibition stall in Paris revolved around a dominant piece – stepped stairs. In this case, too, we took part in the production, transport and final assembly of the stall, as well as in its design. In order for the construction of the stairs and the block suspended at a height of 5 meters to be stable, but light at the same time, we used modular grids made of OSB pannels.

In order for the construction of the stairs and the block suspended at a height of 5 meters to be stable, but light at the same time, we used modular grids made of OSB pannels. Using non-conductive materials made from natural Forbo linoleum, we also managed to eliminate unpleasant static electricity, which caused unwanted “kicks” when touching a lamp at last year’s exhibition, where a floor with sprayed paint was used.

Exhibition stall at Maison d'Objet in Paris, 2018: Focus on natural look

Another implementation was an exhibition stall, in which we had to treat the surface of colored MDF boards. Another implementation was an exhibition stall, in which we had to treat the surface of colored MDF boards. The request was to make the board look as natural as possible, almost raw.

We achieved the natural look of the MDF board by sanding its surface on site and coating it using a solution that highlighted the desired look.
